A Generic Methodology for Calculating Rescheduling Time for Multiple Unexpected Events in the Era of Zero Defect Manufacturing

Nowadays, the manufacturing industry is constantly changing. Production systems must operate in a highly dynamic environment where unexpected events could occur and create disruption, making rescheduling inevitable for companies. Rescheduling models are fundamental to robustness of production processes. This paper proposes model address caused by events, aiming achieve zero-defect (ZDM) concept. The goal incorporate traditional ZDM–oriented into one methodology calculate when next will be performed effectively react events. relies on definition two key time parameters each event type: response (RT) delay (DRT). Based these parameters, an management algorithm designed identify optimal solution. DRT parameter calculated based multi-parametric formula capture dynamics production. Moreover, ANOM, ANOVA methods used analyse behaviour developed method assess level proposed approach. Finally, case study real scenarios conducted, series simulation experiments performed, comparisons with other policies presented. results demonstrate effectiveness managing rescheduling.
